Gili Trawangan is the more bigger of Lombok's Gili Islands and is the only one to rise significantly above sea level. It is 3km long and 2km . Of the Gilis , in the last 5 years Trawangan has the most tourist facilities like hotel,bar and cafè,most of this facilities is located in the eastern side.Near Gili Trawangan two other little islands as well Gili Meno and Gili Air also with out any motorized transports,you can move around by bicycles or the "cidomo" a small carriage.To move to the other Gili island or to Lombok and Bali tourist usually use the speedboat service.The island offers excellent snorkeling and scuba diving .To get away with you girlfriend and spend few days to see only the clear water around and kissed by the sun.
